Finnicum House Is Now on Facebook and Instagram, Come Say Hello

An open book leading into a bright, imaginative landscape

There is something special about opening a new book.

The first page marks the beginning. The next few pages invite you to settle in. Before long, you are somewhere else entirely: following a new path, meeting new people, and carrying a story with you.

At Finnicum House, we believe stories can do more than fill a quiet afternoon. They can create connection. They can help us notice something new. They can stay with us long after the final page.

Now, we are opening a few more doors for those connections.

Finnicum House is officially on Facebook and Instagram

We are happy to share that Finnicum House now has an official Facebook page and Instagram page.

These pages will give us a simple, more personal way to stay in touch with readers, friends, families, and anyone who enjoys meaningful stories. They will be places to share what is happening at Finnicum House and to invite you a little further into the work behind the pages.

You can look forward to updates about:

  • New books and story announcements
  • Moments from the writing and publishing process
  • Behind-the-scenes glimpses from the house
  • News about the Lucy series
  • Occasional notes, reminders, and surprises
  • Stories and ideas connected to our wider creative work

Most of all, these pages will give us another place to say hello.

A closer connection between the pages

Finnicum House began with a simple idea: Stories That Matter.

That idea shapes the books we share and the way we think about the people who read them. We are not interested in rushing past a story just to get to the next thing. We want to make room for work that has heart, meaning, and something worth carrying forward.

Facebook and Instagram give us new ways to share that point of view.

A book can be a quiet, private experience. It can meet you in a chair by the window, on a bedside table, during a long trip, or in a library corner. But stories can also create conversation. They can give people something to talk about, remember, recommend, and experience together.

Our new social pages will help us take part in those conversations.

What you may see there

Every platform has its own character, and we hope to let each page grow naturally.

On Facebook, we will share news and updates in a way that makes it easy to follow along. It will be a place for announcements, reminders, and conversations with the wider Finnicum House community.

On Instagram, we will share more of the visual side of the work. That may include book moments, images connected to the stories, glimpses of the creative process, and small details that help bring the world of Finnicum House to life.

The pages will not be about filling space. We would rather share something thoughtful than post simply for the sake of posting.

Sometimes that may mean a book update. Sometimes it may be a behind-the-scenes photograph. Sometimes it may be a short note about a character, an idea, or a moment that stayed with us.

We hope the pages feel like an extension of Finnicum House itself: warm, curious, human, and open to meaningful work.

A growing house of stories

This is an exciting moment for Finnicum House.

Our first voice in the house is Callie, author of the Lucy series. Her books include Lucy: A Summer to Remember, Lucy: 4 to Remember, and Lucy: A Gift to Remember. You can meet the authors and explore the books on our website.

There are also more stories taking shape. Kate is writing toward the lived experience of cancer and the people who survive it. Jacque has completed her women’s self-help book, and it is just about ready to go to publishing with Finnicum House.

Each project is different. Each writer brings a different point of view. Together, they reflect what Finnicum House is becoming: a small publishing house with room for several voices and many kinds of meaningful stories.

Our new Facebook and Instagram pages will allow us to share more of that journey as it unfolds.

Lucy’s next steps

The launch of our social pages comes at a time when there is already plenty happening at Finnicum House.

Lucy: A Summer to Remember is now available for bookstores and libraries to order through IngramSpark. We have shared more about that milestone in our earlier post, “Big News for Lucy: Bookstores and Libraries Can Now Order ‘Lucy: A Summer to Remember’”.

We will not repeat that full announcement here, but it is part of a larger season of momentum for the house. The Lucy series is continuing to find its way to readers, and we are grateful for every person who helps carry it there.

Social media gives us another way to celebrate those steps, not only the finished books, but also the people, ideas, and care behind them.

The next page is yours

Finnicum House is still growing.

There will be more books, more ideas, more conversations, and more stories to come. Some are already finding their shape. Others are waiting for the right time and the right voice.

Facebook and Instagram are small but important steps in that process. They give us new ways to meet readers where they are and to share the work as it develops.

Thank you for making room for Finnicum House in your day, your bookshelf, or your feed. Thank you for following the stories, supporting the writers, and helping meaningful work find its readers.

We hope you will come say hello.

There is always room at the table.
